Hello Everyone!
So I have recently discovered this awesome company called influenster. They kind of remind me of PinchMe because they send out samples in these things called VoxBoxes. A VoxBox is a box filled with samples for you to try FOR FREE so that you can test and try the product out! The entire purpose is to test the products.
The cool part about Influenster is that you don’t have to be a blogger or YouTuber to sign up and get boxes. Granted it does help when it comes to your ‘influence’ score after you link your social accounts – but it isn’t necessary to be chosen for a box. From what I gathered companies look for certain demographics to send their product to for review purposes and that plays a lot into if you will get a box or not (along with the influence score). If you are interested you can sign up here!
So I received my first survey e-mail to see if I qualified for a VoxBox a few weeks ago – and I did!!!
Shortly there after I received my very first VoxBox – the Bella VoxBox!
I seriously LOVED these products! All of which I had NEVER tried before.
My all time favorite HAS to be the Dove with Real Fruit! It is worth noting that I despise blueberries – the ONLY thing I like with blueberries is a blueberry muffin. So when I saw that it was chocolate covered Blueberries I was less than enthused. You can even tell in the video I was hesitant to try them out. Much to my shock and awe I loved them. I loved them so much that when Walgreens had them on sale this week (with manufactures coupon & Walgreens coupon) I stocked up!! I let with 4 large bags of these babies!
I also was a huge fan of the Kate Lipstick (more specifically the Rimmel London By Kate Moss #09)! I love the bright color lipstick and you can never go wrong with a classic looking red color. I was super excited because after I posted a picture of me in the lipstick on twitter RimmelLondonUS themselves retweeted me (talk about star struck)!
The Mascara has this fancy new fangled brush that is supposed to help with clumping of mascara – and so far I haven’t had a problem with it. There has been no clumping at all – but it is a little strange to use for the first time. It took me a second to get used to it – I almost had mascara on my eyelid – but I did get used to it and I do actually like it quite a bit. I wasn’t to thrilled with how the video turned out – I only realized after I was done with the video that I help the mascara in a spot where it looked like I had a mustache (never fails – leave it to me). I did have to laugh once I realized how it looked – hopefully you guys had a chuckle as well.
The other three products I received were the Ecotools Mattifying Finish Brush, Sally Hensen AirBrush Legs, and Not Your Mothers Deja Vu’do styling cream.
I had never tried a Not Your Mothers product before – and I rarely use styling creams as it is (they tend to weigh my hair down fairly quickly). I will say that this styling cream does make your hair look great. I used it the other night for ‘date night’ (first time I used it) and I was pleasantly surprised. It weighed my hair down a little (but any product will do that in my hair – super fine hair) but not nearly as much as other products have in the past. It certainly is something I would use for special occasions like date nights but I’m not sure I would use it every single day (only because If it takes me longer than 10 minutes to do my hair I usually avoid it).
The AirBrush legs are interesting. I had never tried leg make up (and the color is a little on the darker side for me at the moment – only because I am only starting to get my tan back thanks to spring finally showing up). The product itself works like a concealer for your legs, so bruises/spots/veins/you name it the product will cover up. I think this is great – I always end up with some random bruise on me thanks to yard work so I will be putting this to use once I get a bit more of a tan!
Last – but not least – is the Ecotools Mattifying Finish brush. This brush – is – so – soft – – ! There is no other word to describe it! (yes I realize my comparison to puppies was a strange one – but honestly aside form my Cici – I had never felt anything as soft). I absolutely love it too!
I also received a coupon for a free bottle of wine from Club W when I purchase my first 2 bottles of wine. I haven’t done this yet but I have heard a TON of good things about Club W and I am excited to try it- when I do I will certainly update you! #Spring4Wine
Overall I LOVED this VoxBox and I hope I get chosen for many more in the future! If you are interested in influenster you can sign up here.
Here is a List of the Products I received if you want to get some of them yourself!
