Hello Everyone!
I have a very exciting post today! If any of you follow my Facebook, Twitter or Instagram page (which you most certainly should!) you know that I was reached out to by Pinkblush Maternity to feature some of their items on the blog. I had never actually heard of the maternity boutique before but after looking at their site I fell in love with their designs. I was able to select three different items that I wanted to feature here for all of you as well as host a giveaway for a $75.00 gift card. The exciting part is that PinkBlush has both a Maternity Clothing line as well as a line for women who are not pregnant!
So you don’t have to be pregnant to enter the giveaway!
I will start by saying I wasn’t entirely sure about the whole ‘online shopping for maternity clothes’ idea mostly because I am picky with how I like things to fit and feel at the moment. Another concern of mine was that at the time they reached out to me I only had a couple weeks left before my due date – so I was more interested in nursing items than maternity items.
After I looked at their website I saw a ton of different items that could double for both maternity and nursing after the baby arrived. I absolutely loved this because if I can get a cute maternity dress that will work for me both while I’m pregnant as well as after while I’m nursing – it will end up saving me some money overall.
Once I looked at the PinkBlush website I found it *quite* difficult to narrow it down to three items because I absolutely LOVED all of their clothes. . . but I did end up narrowing it down to three items.
The First Item (and one I am MOST excited about) is the delivery & nursing robe:
It is beyond comfortable! I ordered it in a size large (because it’s a robe and I figured I can always just tie it to make it smaller). I absolutely love the pink design and I wear it nearly every morning now. This is something that I will be bringing to the hospital with me when I deliver – just so I can wear something comfortable (other than a hospital gown) while I’m walking the halls.
Since it opens in the front it will also be perfect for nursing when Baby Girl is here (plus lets be honest – it’s always nice to have a robe). The name of the robe itself is called Pink-Antique-Tribal Delivery/Nursing Maternity Robe and you can find the direct link to it here.
The second item is a cute maternity dress:
I just think the design is such a beautiful print for a dress in general (maternity or not). Keep in mind I am 39 weeks pregnant in these pictures – I did go with a size medium for this dress and it couldn’t have fit better if I wanted it to. I was so happy considering my initial concern about online maternity shopping.
The top is perfect for nursing because of how the neckline is designed. So this will be a dress that I can wear once Baby Girl is here. The material was so nice as well. I’m not sure about all the other expecting moms out there – but I tend to run hot anymore (which is SOO abnormal for me) but this material is breathable and I didn’t feel like I was going to overheat (that was a previous problem I did have with some clothes).
The other thing I was concerned about was the length of the dress – with how far out I was staring to go I wasn’t sure if it would be way too short for me – but I thought it was perfect.
The actual name of this dress is Purple Floral Draped Maternity/Nursing Dress and you can find a direct link to it here.
The last item I choose was an adorable maternity maxi dress:
I absolutley *loved* the color and print of this dress! I just thought it was a beautiful dress! My thought process behind this dress was that it would be something perfect for spring/summer while I was nursing. The material is the same kind of soft breathable material as the shorter dress above – so if your a mama-to-be like me who seems to be running on the hot hope-I-don’t-overheat-side this is perfect for you!
As you can see from this picture the top is perfect for nursing after baby arrives – like I said earlier – this was a must have in my book.
I ended up with a size medium in this dress as well and I was happy with how well it fit given I was only a week from my due date. I used their sizing chart they have online and from my experience it was quite accurate.
The name of this dress is Blue Moroccan Print Draped Maternity Maxi Dress and the direct link to it is here.
In all honesty I wish I had heard of Pinkblush Maternity sooner! I would have used one of their dresses at my baby shower or for any of the other events I had going on (my sister was getting married and I had a few other weddings & showers to attend during the pregnancy). I would *HIGHLY* recommend them.
