Hello Everyone!
You guessed right – that is a picture of Baby Girl – she’s only two days old in that photo! How adorable is she?! . . . but seriously ?!
So if you haven’t already read about how big of a deal this little girl made when entering the world be sure to swing by this post and find out. Once Baby Girl was here we were sent to our Mother Baby room and stayed there for three days because of the whole ordeal (usually a C-section is only 2 days).
While we were there one of my good friends (who also happens to be a photographer at Open Box Photography) came to visit us! Like any good photographer she showed up, Camera in hand (plus a few props)! After she met Baby Girl and heard the low-down on everything that happened – because lets be honest, you can only update via text so well – a photo session broke out. I never realized how much I would treasure hospital photos like these until after everything happened!
I cannot thank her enough for capturing such beautiful moments – be sure to check her out both at her website and her facebook page.
Without further ado – here are some of the photos!
I am so thankful for this photo – it is one of my all-time favorites of my Husband and Baby Girl!
My sister had to calm Baby Girl down by singing none other than the “Let it Go” song from frozen!
Look at those little toes!
. . . because it’s exhausting being a baby . . .
Plus I love the little romper that she brought!
So much of my first day and even random parts of my stay are foggy to me because of everything that happened – it’s photos like these that I will forever treasure because these are moments I never wanted to be “foggy” with. Thanks to photos like these I will always be able to look back at them and see what I may not be able to remember myself!
All of these photos were taken by Open Box Productions – you can follow them on facebook here!
