Hello,
So I am officially back now! As I’m sure many of you can guess from the picture – My Husband and I are expecting a little one in January! We are over the moon excited and have been working hard at getting the nursery together and learning everything we need to know that is baby related!
These past few months life has just taken over – and as a result Come Save Away had to get put on hold. The first few months of pregnancy were quite rough to put it lightly. My morning sickness kicked in almost right away and lasted all day – every day – and all night – most nights. I’m fairly certain whoever decided to call it morning sickness was just playing a cruel joke on people – or – was never actually pregnant themselves. Not to mention that I had to stop going to the stores because the smells in the various isles were making me run to the bathroom! I wasn’t able to film my weekly videos anymore without gagging on camera (not pretty) so I had to stop filming them. Plus I ended up getting rushed to the hospital on more than one occasion – which was quite scary for us.
Like I said – it was a rough few months starting out. But it’s getting better now!
Plus my (little) Sister got Married – YES MARRIED – at the end of August! So A lot of my time when I wasn’t sick was spent on my Matron of Honor duties and all the fun wedding planning, setting up and decorating (my sister did the ceremony decorations herself and my parents and I helped), and working on having the perfect toast for my sister (who is also my absolute best friend in the world – so I had to be certain everything was beyond perfect)!
So – now that the wedding is over – and I seem to have *a bit* of a grasp on my morning sickness (and yes I still get it at almost 21 weeks!) I am back at blogging and couponing! After all I need to get my stockpile Baby Ready!
But here’s what I’m hoping to do: I plan on rebooting the Over 50 Ways to save Over $50 series and there are a ton more apps that I have discovered to feature in the apps that pay you section. Plus I hope to start getting back into the store and doing my videos! I will also have posts about how I manage to get a grip on my morning sickness (hopefully it will help others who had issues like me) as well as all the fun seasonal activities/DIY stuff that is just around the corner! Plus random ramblings of me :)
On an unrelated note – how cute are my puppies?! Seriously though! I absolutely adore them. For those of you who don’t know – I am a proud, self proclaimed Crazy Dog Lady! My Pups (from left to right) are Tank, Cici and Ozzy. Getting them all to cooperate at once for the picture was no small feat! But I absolutely loved how it turned out! After all – they are all going to be big brothers & sisters and have to protect the new baby – so of course they were the once who needed to announce it :)
